We’re a big fan of the patented Slastix™ bands…technology that is revolutionizing the resistance tubing industry. It is superior to traditional naked tubing because it provides increased comfort and safety.
No longer will you have to worry about your skin being pinched or having your hair pulled. Safety Sleeve™ provides ultimate protection from irritation caused by latex.
The life of the elastic increases dramatically since the elastic is protected from wear.
Another benefit of Slastix™ technology is that the sleeve provides safety stretch limitation.
The stretch limitation not only protects the user, but it also protects the elastic, thus doubling the life of the equipment.
Slastix™ are available in resistances from very light all the way to very heavy and have a standard length of 4 feet.
We have created a myriad of movements for GardenCore using the Slastix.
What has worked best for our purposes is a pair of the blue resistance.
That’s all you’ll need!
These can be purchased online here at Perform Better.

Any of th
e movements that we do use only a 5 lb. handheld weight.
If a 5 lb. is too much, choose a 3 or 2 lb. weight.
Remember, we use the weight to move from the core, not to simply push around…so you need not much weight.
You can purchase weights at your fitness store of choice or online here at Perform Better.
